MISSION STATEMENT
As the effects of climate change continue to take its toll around the globe none have felt it more than the Maasai Of Eastern African. It is our mission to assist the Maasai during these difficult times by providing access to water for their children and livestock.
ABOUT ME/PURPOSE
During a backpacking trip through Tanzania I came across a Maasai community and was shown an incredible amount warmth and hospitality. It came to my attention during my stay that they were experiencing one of the worst drought they have had in generations.
As their culture’s survival is completely reliant on cows and goats for food and income the lack of rain and abundance of wildlife sharing drinking water it is becoming very difficult to find water for livestock as well as for the people living in the area.
With the money earned through donations and purchases from our Maasai Gift Shop (link in menu) we will be purchasing 2000-5000 liter water tanks with filters to disperse though out the community. We will also be digging water wells through the area so that the livestock will have access to plenty of water.

Tanks, Wells and Filters
Water filters are essential to ensuring water is safe for human consumption.
SM Water tanks can be refilled and used to catch rain water. Donations will go to providing as many of these as possible throughout the Maasai communities.
Donations will go to purchasing water tanks and filters, as seen in the pictures above, as well as digging water wells like the one shown in the video above, providing water to many families and livestock in the surrounding areas.
